A little bit about me

I'm an aspiring marine biologist, with a passionate interest in theatre and film. By integrating the two fields, I hope to be a science communicator, performing stories, sparking awareness and most importantly- sharing my love for the ocean with people. Outside my academic interests, i'm a total fitness freak. My favourite sports include long distance running (half marathons), football, training for Hyrox, barre and athletics. I'm drawn to spaces where curiosity meets action- whether that looks like field research, building initiatives, performing on stage, or showing up for another early start at training.

This article brings together my Mozambique fieldwork into a structured scientific write-up, focusing on breeding grounds, seasonal migrations, habitat conditions, and the ecological importance of the Bazaruto Archipelago.
